Cost Reduction & Enhancing Internal Controls
Our ApproachOne of our sales team rang up the client and set up an initial introductory meeting with a member of our Engagement Team. Several secondary meetings were arranged with senior management, and an initial 10 hour free consultancy was drawn up where our ET (engagement team) could do an initial analysis of where we could potentially reduce the overall spend without effecting brand and marketing of the products. Our Initial Free InvestigationWith every client, we insist on evaluating their existing “as is” model in all areas concerning Print, Design & Brand, and Apparel. A member of the ET will come and conduct interviews with key stakeholders, gatekeepers and connected staff to further understand our client’s internal controls. The initial investigation is concluded with the presentation of a formal report to our client. This report highlights our findings, and more importantly sets tangible goals and a roadmap of achieving such savings. This report was accepted, and we went to work on the roadmap. The project was to last six months, with 30 hours of consulting time, and a further 80 hours of our support staff to implement the proposed changes. The ProblemOur client had a chain of restaurants across the UK. They had an existing marketing spend of £120,000 on all print, design and web work. Our aim was to reduce spend levels by £40,000. The SolutionWe centralised all their print buying to their headquarters in London to enhance internal controls on spend.

Embedding Processes To help our clients embed the new centralised print purchasing process to ensure long term cost benefits, we arranged an on-going service contract for the following 12 months where at key junctures we would provide required support and consultation with satellite branches. |
